This young man from Room 22 absolutely loves to relax & read his Beano magazine at every opportunity, only this time he actually featured in the magazine! Inspired by our 'Strandtown Anti Bullying Week' when the children came to school in a variety of hats, this child from Year 5 designed his own 'Beano' hat by using an old hat his Granda gave him. Following this, he noticed a competition in his favourite magazine which required him to do something 'Menacing' ! Sensibly a parent was asked for permission to enter the competition which involved sending a picture of himself wearing his 'Beano' themed hat! A few weeks later his father received an email saying that our very own Year 5 Strandtown child would feature in this very famous comic! Check out the picture !
