As it stands, registration for AQE opens on Thursday 14th May. General information on registration can be found by clicking on the FIRST link below. Guidance notes for completion of the online registration can be found by clicking on the SECOND link.

In preparation for registration you should have the following, as set out clearly in the guidelines on the AQE website:
- one recent photograph of your child, cropped to passport size.
- a SCANNED copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport NOT a photograph.
- if your child is entitled to Free School Meals, proof of entitlement must be provided.

CHANGE OF ASSESSMENT DATES FOR 2020
The Board of AQE Ltd, having considered all of the available dates and taking into account the Post-Primary Transfer Timetable, has decided that the dates for the 2020/2021 assessments will be as follows:
Test 1: Saturday 21st November 2020
Test 2: Saturday 28th November 2020
Test 3: Saturday 12th December 2020.
PPTC (GL assessment) will host their assessment on Saturday 5th December 2020.
Results will be issued on Saturday 30th January 2021.
Good to have some clarity over the dates for AQE & GL assessment. At least we have a timeframe now to work to. I know there has been a little ‘stress’ over how to scan the key documents for AQE registration, so I’ve included links for iPhone and for Android on how to access the built in scanner on your device.
