We wholeheartedly congratulate the 8 pupils who made the long journey to Dublin on Sunday to represent Strandtown in the All Ireland Finals of the Credit Union Quiz at the RDS. Competing against pupils from all over the country, our pupils gave an excellent account of themselves at both U13 and U11 levels.
We celebrated with the pupils during our Year 7 assembly and Mr. McWilliams gave us a flavour of how difficult the questions were that the pupils were asked.
Thanks to all the parents who travelled to support their children and to the staff who also made a long trip to support our pupils.
