Dear Parents
In light of the developing situation and the example by many sporting bodies in Northern Ireland, we will be cancelling after school sporting activities until Easter. Given the size of Strandtown, we are assembling large numbers of pupils for activities with physical contact and greater risk of transmission.
Given the greater risks associated with food preparation we are also cancelling after school Cookery Club until Easter.
Outside agencies have been asked to communicate directly with you on their precautionary response.
I hope you appreciate these steps are precautionary measures for the well-being of our whole school community and important given Strandtown's unique size.
