A message for our Year 7 pupils
Dear pupil
Many of you will get a score tomorrow morning. For some of you this will be a result you are happy with and we are absolutely delighted for you. For others, the score may not have been what you were hoping for. Please know this number, which I know feels very important right now, will quickly be forgotten about. We are so proud of every one of our pupils - those that took the test and those that did not. The talent, achievements and skills you bring to school every day is what matters. From dancing with Aldo in our senior disco to talking all that makes you wonderful and special in our Love for Life sessions this week. Your teachers welcome you in on Monday, not with any test score attached to you, but with pride and delight for the super Year 7s we have in Strandtown. Before you take flight from Strandtown in June, there are many exciting adventures ahead, starting this week with our Art Bird workshops.
Let’s get ready for the fun (and a little class work too!)
