What a privilege this morning for our Year 7 pupils to listen to the wonderful words of wisdom from Laurence and Luke from the Life Guards team. Pupils were presented with so much really good advice on how to look after their heart, body and mind both now and for the future.
Over the last 8 weeks, pupils have been having a 30 minute Life Guard session taken by the Life Guards team to try and improve their fitness and their positive mental well-being.
As Mr. Ewart said in his closing words, it was an absolute privilege for our school and pupils to be involved in such an amazing programme. Awards were presented, pupils received certificates, VIP cards distributed, booklets given out and Laurence singing, "Never Give Up" brought the programme to a very meaningful end.
Strandtown PS would like to place on record its deepest gratitude to Laurence and Luke for the time, effort, kindness and commitment they have invested in our pupils over the last 8 weeks. It has been an amazing experience for our Y7 pupils.
