With regard to recent events our Safeguarding Team at Strandtown have reviewed our Health & Safety provisions. Given the size of Strandtown & our involvement with the community it is felt necessary that we invest in another defibrillator & further defibrillator training for our staff. With previous support & generosity we were able to purchase one defibrillator which is located at the front of the school, with further funds we could have a defibrillator at the rear entrance of the school. Our target is £2500. If you wish to help please send contributions in a sealed envelope with your child's name & room number on it, clearly marked 'Defibrillator Funds'.
