Harvest Assembly 2016
Today marked the end of another very successful half term for the boys and girls in Strandtown. We finished today with our annual Harvest assembly. The junior choir opened up proceedings with some excellent singing and the boys and girls from Room 39 in year 6 led the morning. The boys and girls had many visitors also. Our Principal Mr McClenaghan visited us to receive a cheque for £2000 for his Alzheimer's charity, we said a sad final goodbye to Mrs Scholes from our school office, Matt from Storehouse in Belfast came in and thanked the boys and girls for all their generous donations of canned food and the Rev Ebbinghaus led us in worship. We all now look forward to a very restful and safe Halloween break.
